Two brass plates form this incense holder. The solid brass is delicately finished by hand to bring out the natural texture of the material.
Place the holder on a flat surface. Light the incense stick, extinguish the flame, and gently insert the bamboo end into the hole. The two brass plates catch the ash as the incense burns. After use, remove any ash or residue with a brush, or gently wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Brass develops a patina with use. The brass can be left to age naturally, or polished with an abrasive sponge for long-term use.
